I don't really see a way to avoid bad pr like this - pax books unsafe itin, gets burned, blames UA. Could happen on any airline in the world to any pax.
Agreed, and yet the OP continues to maintain the "I'm just posting" attitude. Posting badly written and researched "articles" is bad enough - continuing to try to hide behind such bad decisions is another.
