I'm not sure what you're missing, but no, I don't have the choice when it's on the overhead screen. Now if UA gave us something to attach to the seat in front in order to block the view, then I would have an option.

Good point. I guess we don't have the full story just yet. But the fact that they were allowed to continue on another flight and were not cited in any way makes me think it was an overreaction.
