I work at a college, so whenever a workshop or conference comes up, I make my own reservations and that of colleagues, thereby earning nights and points.
I receive a travel advance for our travel, so I'm able to use my Marriott Premier Visa card to pay for the stay and for any other colleague that travels with me.
You know, I have to check, I might have a choice between paying for the rooms on my own and getting reimbursed or having the company pay direct. Thanks for the tip.
