Amex promised me a decision by the end of today, I have now been told that they need an extra couple of days. (It's been suspended since the 22nd)
I don't think the card's worth the effort, a reviewer had the nerve to say "This isn't a normal credit card, it's a chargecard (dumbing it down for me). We need to know that our customers can handle them". I told him that I have had a Diners card since the age 18 (Thanks to my bank manager) and I do indeed know how to handle a chargecard product and ontime payments for 13 months proved this.
I'm afraid that on this occasion Amex, you've lost me. I did show loyalty to them though, taking out 3 "amex" insurance policies etc.
I'm going to ring to cancel the card and ensure my story is resolved.
