When they first introduced the ability to change your ticket online, it was very buggy but it worked. Since about 6-8 months now this feature has never worked and gives that error message. To note, all if my EK flights are booked on the EK website

Perhaps they just decided to disable the feature, with the error message, rather than have it buggy.
