I need to have a chat with my boss I think... Indeed, point 42 talks about "two successive non-consecutive stays". So a day trip to the UK or Romania should suffice.

We were taught differently however, the stay didn't have to be interrupted. I stand corrected. I guess Belgian immigration misinterpreted the ruling. Or decided not to bother
