At the time I stayed there, The pending charge was like $500 something. It was the first time, i have seen this kind of pending charge for room security.
Yes, you can take the slippers with you, they are free.
No one would want to wear slippers after they were worn by someone else and they don't wash very well.
As to the pending charge of $500, it will never post unless you trash the place. It's high but so is the price they charge for the room.
