Could I pick the brains of the wise on FT here ?

Assume you could pick any J seat in a 2/3-class refurbished QF 747 (Skybed Mk I), how many of you would prefer the upper deck (UD) vs. the mini front cabin (rows 1-4) ?

For a solo and for a couple.

Would rows 1/2 be preferable to row 11/12 for example ?

Would row 16 be too "exposed" to passing traffic despite the unrestricted legroom ?

What's your preference (solo or couple) ?
