If you are departing from a country that allows them, carry a regular clipper. If you are departing from a country that actually bans nail clippers (assuming one exists) then you probably shouldn't be trying to sneak through a mostly-plastic version to avoid detection. Toss your metal clipper in the bin before you go through security and buy a new one when you get to your destination.

But frankly, I doubt a clipper-banning country exists. It is more likely that this is just a marketing gimmick to sell overpriced clippers to gullible travelers at airport kiosks.

A quick scan of the net shows this set selling for a shocking $24 US dollars including shipping. I call that a ripoff. There is no valid reason for this product to even exist.
