I actually prefer to take a flat-bed seat slightly out of fully horizontal into a slight cradle configuration when sleeping on my back. My lower back doesn't deal real well with the seat fully horizontal. If I'm awake enough, I'll move it back to horizontal when sleeping on my side. To each his own, I guess.
But isn't it nice to have that option? The angled flat seats don't give you a choice. It's a flat sliding board or some sort of a cradle; neither option is good for a side sleeper.
