I guess the flipside would be that in the European culture (North America and Europe), senior crew members are never respected? I guess in the U.S. military, all orders are questioned. I see now...

as I have said in other threads, I have friends who are cabin crew for a USA airline and they regularly smoke in the lavatory during long TPac flights. so to say it is an Asian thing is wrong.
^ But, your cabin crew friends are Asian!!! At least according to behuman.

An Asian copilot or flight attendant would almost never contradict a captain. A crew member of a safe ailine will be trained to communicate openly without fear of repression. Some Asian carriers are implementing such training, but the cultural thing still remains.

Do you believe European (that includes Euro-Americans) copilots or FAs regularly contradict the captain? Oh my lord...

So, behuman (how ironic), you say it's not only about Asians, yet you go on, AGAIN, about Asian seniority and contradictions and this and that and blah blah blah yada yada yada. And, what do you know about "Asian" culture? Not much considering how much you complain about it.

If you generally hate Asians and their culture (apparently, they are all the same) so much, stop visiting their countries and flying on their airplanes. DONE.

Ignorance doesn't discriminate...especially in this case.

(I guess the two UA captains who threw off that blogger and the family that complained about the inappropriate in-flight movie was an American/western/European cultural thing? Forget common sense; just throw passengers off the plane. See how silly that sounds?)
