Interesting though as the 787-9 is quoted on Boeing's website as a 250-290 seater for 8,000-8,500 nautical miles. The range is greater than the 747-400 but the size is considerably smaller as BA operates the 747-400 with 350+seats doesn't it? The 787-9 would seem the perfect replacement for the 777-200s to me unless BA really wants to downsize the fleet which would seem odd to me........
