The hantavirus was associated with a specific type of heated cabin, double-walled "Signature" cabins, where there were mice droppings between the two walls. These have all been demolished. The "traditional" heated tent-cabins have canvas sides, not walls, just like the unheated cabins, and do not present the same problem as the double-walled ones.
