That's right, but since that's more than US$5000/day, that's far more than almost any US-issued card is going to be able to withdraw per day.

As is the case anywhere else, the limit at any particular ATM is going to be the lower of whatever limit the ATM enforces and the limit enforced by the issuing bank of whatever card you use.

Upon arrival at KIX, just look for the Citibank ATM. That will be your easiest option, and unlike some ATMs in Japan, will accept almost any foreign card and will be open 24/7. 7/11's in town are a good second option. It's very likely that whatever limit your issuing bank imposes on daily withdrawals will be the governing factor.
