We have recently joined the MileagePlus programme a few weeks ago.We have yet to fly with United so have not earned any miles yet.However,we shall be flying Business class from Heathrow to Auckland with AirNZ at the end of the year.
My questions are, do we get an actual membership card/welcome pack?
Should I ring AirNZ and give our membership numbers in advance of our flights to make sure we are credited with airmiles?
I am not sure if the miles we will earn will be enough to get us flights anywhere with either United or partner airlines but I live in hope.
