I'd hate to use it in a rental, though...I'd be the one that thinks he's so smart hiding his phone there and then forgetting it when I return the vehicle.
First impression -- I thought the interior was, obviously, a huge step up from the previous gen. However, I didn't think it was noticeably better than the '13 Avalon or even the '13 Taurus. There seemed to be a variety of textures and finishes, but that might have been a result of the pre-production nature of the vehicle.
I also sat in one at the auto show and liked the interior better than the Avalon's. The Avalon interior design seemed incongruous. I guess we'll just have to wait to see it in person.
