5:12PM from South Station is as good as you're going to get on a 1X routing. It's after work, but early enough to get to the Cape before dark.

There better be a ton of cabs ready in Hyannis to take care of the passengers, or this will be a nonstarter.

Wonder what they'll be serving in the bar car! Been a long time since the T served any food or beverages
