Nail clippers fall under the category of "small scissors" (blades less than 4") and are not prohibited at all in carry on or checked baggage. So what's the point of this? Need to trim your cuticles while you are getting your nude-o-scope and grope-down?

Just put a regular clipper in your carry on bag or jacket pocket and put it on the conveyor.
