I am researching to find a suitable carryon/laptop bag combo, on the nicer/higher end side, and Tumi has some items fitting my criteria along with Briggs and Riley and Rimowa.

Now, the curious part of Tumi website, and specs section, is that they do NOT publish the weight of their luggage and bags! Which makes me wonder if they just cannot compete there, so they don't bother publishing, another negative for Tumi...

From my own testing at some stores, some of their bags are incredibly heavy! So, I emailed Tumi and asked for weights on the following bags... guess what? NO RESPONSE!

- Arrive Internation Carryon
- Arrive Heathrow carryon
- Arrive T-pass bag
- Bedford Carryon
- Bedford T-pass bag

This alone is making me weary of Tumi, they seem more and more tailored towards fashion statement and status symbolism, versus a tool for business travelers with service to support it! Warranty diminished, quality now questionable, and even their webiste is just an e-tailer with little to no reference to business traveler needs, or even to explain their technologies, supposed innovations! Anyone else feels the same way?

I am prbably gonna go for Rimowa or B&R, specially if I am unable to find out how much they weigh!
