The price shown includes the discount for all mileage purchases over 20,000. If you look, 19,000 miles actually cost more than 20,000 because they incorporate the discount at that point.
The price is 2.75 cents per mile for less than 20,000.
The price per mile (excluding any bonus mileage, tax or fees) is 2.34 cents per mile (15% less) for amounts at or above 20,000.
As I referred to in my other post, you can get 76,500 miles for $1,577.68 including tax and fees (paid twice for 2 x 30,000 miles).
That comes out to a price per mile (all in) of 2.06 cents per mile for 60,000 vs. 2.00 cents per mile if you buy only 40,000 and take the 12,000 bonus miles.
So, what's it gonna be? Maximum miles at 76,500 (27.5% bonus) or maximum value per mile at 52,000 (30% bonus)???
