Tailor's Suit bag as Carry-on in J
I don't fly AC much, only domestic Canada flights, which are rare for me, but I have a flight YYZ YVR this month and wonder if I can carry a folded tailor's suit bag (the one you get when you buy a suit) along with my rolling suitcase for a flight to YVR on 777 and back to YYZ on 763. The suit and 4 shirts inside the bag would not fit folded in my rolling suitcase and I really don't want to wear the suit as an alternative.
Room overhead would not be an issue I would think but I have no idea how the security theatre treats a folded suit bag - a suitcase? Garment bag? Personal item?
I am going to a wedding and will not check any luggage due to the risk of not having it on arrival.
My alternative is to use a garment bag instead of my roller (I have an old Eddie Bauer bag) and carry my laptop in a computer bag but the tailor bag would be far less hassle.
