They will verify your ID and contract on the way out to make sure you are who is supposed to be renting the car, so it's not like just anybody can drive off the lot with it.

They will also have gold choice probably, so if you rent an intermediate or above, you can also choose any comparable car in the gold choice area (assuming they have something different there)
