Delta does not. I've even experienced this with the last international flight of the day (in ATL), which meant that they had to overnight the pax.

If you think about it, I think the MCT in SLC is 25 min (meaning that DL will sell that connection). In reality, if they are saying that 15 min prior to departure is too late, then you have only 10 min to get to the other gate (which assumes that your flight is early, as it takes time to get off the inbound plane). I've complained about this (specifically about SLC) to Delta, I've gotten a response that "this shouldn't be happening", but continues to do so.
