It may take me a few days to get it all written up, but my partner and I were on the official inaugural flight to IAD yesterday. We were a bit surprised since it was the second day of the route, but that was the flight selected for the official inaugural ceremonies. Felt slightly out of place in Diamond First (on an AA award redemption) surrounded by Etihad execs and the US Ambasssador, but it was a wonderful flight. Too bad we couldn't 'crash' the ribbon-cutting ceremony on arrival . Loved the F product, both hard and soft.
