At least 2 of those cars were on the Hertz fleet at the time.

I did spend a week in a Pontiac Aztek, which drove better than it looked.

And I had a PT Cruiser Convertible which the rental agent described as "the coolest car on the street" or some such words. Anyway, there is a test report I wrote at the time, available here .

Always liked the look of the SSR - would have rented one of those had they ever had them on fleet.
