It is an acceptable place to spend an hour or two but as others have said a little boring for 5 hours.

You can get a train from the station to downtown Geneva quite quickly and cheaply. I would be tempted to get myself a nice lunch/dinner somewhere in town. The food options in the lounge are quite poor.
