Left Some Headphones on a Flight Last Night - Sick as a Parrot!
Hi all,
I was after some insight (and maybe a morale boost). I flew from LHR to AMS last night (1st April) on KL 1028.
Really stupidly I managed to leave my Bose headphones under the seat in front of me.
I realised as soon as I got to baggage claim and spoke to someone in the services area there. They were about to telephone the gate when I mentioned that we actually got brought to the gate by bus. She said that unfortunately there was nothing she could do. The cleaning crew would be going on board and anything found would be passed to Schiphol Lost and Found.
I've called Lost and Found this morning but they haven't received anything yet - they said to try again this afternoon when they received everything from the night's rounds, and to log a report on the website (which I've done).
I find it frustrating that just minutes after I left the plane, they were unable to contact the cleaning crew or anyone else on the plane. Is this really the case? Also, when do the cleaning crew go on, would it really be immediately.
The headphones were a limited edition Quit Comfort and I'd only had them about 3 weeks, hence my angst. Anybody have any idea what the likelihood is of me seeing them again?
Thanks,
Snoops.
Thanks in advance for any help
