We just started looking for a destination for Winter 2014 (or late 2013). We are looking for a place at this time of year with a large gay crowd or gay festival, and prefer warmish weather. We have been to Mardi Gras New Orleans and really enjoy it. But seems the guys have been migrating over to Southern Decadence.

Buenos Aires gay pride sounds good, and so does Gran Canaria. We don't want to go to Sydney just yet. We like to explore on foot, so probably not Puerto Vallarta. No Cruise either. Have visited Berlin. Bearcelona? Am I leaving anything out (Rio?)? Gran Canaria sounds nice because we like to swim and enjoy the outdoors, but an urban setting is OK too. We have found that Spaniards are easy to talk to and smile more than other Europeans. Are the guys in Gran Caria very friendly? How about Buenos Aires? We do tend to fit in better with the mature/masculine/leather/levi crowd, but we don't need a leather type event. Seems the pics I see of guys on Gran Canaria are all twinks; not correct I hope(?). If we do go to Gran Canaria should we go at Carnival?
