Yes, I always rent a car when I visit Vegas. The weekend rates are absurdly cheap and quite frankly the quick shuttle to the off-site rental car facility can be quicker than waiting in that taxi line. If there are off-Strip destinations on your itinerary, then it's a total no-brainer.
