I do not think this was the case because the GM on Q PNR was not touched manually at all; it ended up as #1 on the list automatically, without anyone doing anything to it, so I did not need to even bring it up. When I asked the agent to look at our UG coding after everything was fixed, she pulled the complete list and we all had the UP2B code. But I agree -- I would not count on anything in the future either.
Also, as a footnote, the tickets were purchased before March 1, reissued into M after March 1, of course, but the MQM were posted with a 50% bonus, so no problem there.
