Not really, but some of these post are getting more ridiculous by the day. And most of them are from people unloading their free nights here, and mostly having unrealistic expectations or cannot understand that Paris is not the US.
Paris, the Maldives, and a couple others are destination locations, so its not unrealistic that folks would want to burn some of their hard earned (and not so hard earned) free room nights there. Just because someone is staying their "free" doesnt make them any less of a customer than the person plopping down 600 euro/night. If my room smells like an ashtray or bar in any 5* hotel, I'll complain... no matter if Im there for free or paying the rack rate - perhaps this just makes me a silly over-assuming American.
