I think it makes much sense to align these rules within the framework of a codesharing agreement. In the present case, 6 legs were booked through AF, all with AF flight numbers, while GRU-POA-GRU was operated by GOL.
Obviously, you would believe that AF c/o baggage regulations apply all the way through, means 12kg / 55 x 25 x 35 cm instead of 5kg. Else AF should inform PAX right upon check-in about the way more severe constraint of their codesharing partner, anything else makes no sense to me.
