AC has joint-fares with CX and since tinman789 bought his ticket thru Orbitz, both reservations are on one ticket. The CX flights would be booked in 'M' class by the way, so you'd still earn Asia Miles on this fare.

You are only allowed one piece of baggage at 23kg. Extra piece will be as Kenneth Chong said. But your bags will be checked thru to JKT without problem and no additional as the normal allowance for CX on transpacific flights are 2 pieces anyway. And if you are delayed, CX will reaccomodate you as you are on one ticket.

You will also be allowed to check two pieces on the return. However, AC will charge you the extra piece when you pick up your boarding pass at the transit point.
