Anecdotally, K-fares ex-HNL are pricing the way H/Q fares were before. U/T is pricing like the old K. The new cheaper classes are pricing the way T used to.
It's frustrating, because we Hawaiian residents were hard-pressed to find upgrades even under the old rules. We have to buy up to K for the chance, and then it's still 90% gate lottery as to whether we'll have the opportunity to use certificates or miles.
Now it costs $300+ more to get to K compared to the old buy-up. Instead of $400 over the cheap fare, now it's pricing about $700 over the cheap fare.
I'm leaning toward alternating between paid F and mileage tickets to make it even out reasonably.
