Why Can't I Cancel an Avios Booking Online?
I have a reward saver booked to fly shortly. However, it's only 50:50 whether I fly or not, but will only know this until 1-2 days before (I know the 24 hour cut off).
This coincides with me being away on a long haul trip, so I thought I can easily cancel on-line. However, I've just viewed my booking and investigated cancelling it online, but it says I must cancel by calling the service centre. This is difficult if you are on a different continent.
I then looked at all my Avios bookings and none of them allow online cancellation. I thought cancelling Avios bookings online was easy and was certainly told this in the past by the service centre.
Anyone know how I get amend the booking so it can be cancelled on line?
