You haven't missed much! The non-Schengen lounge (satellite so "G" gates) is in a basement so no windows, which I hate. Comfy seating but quite crowded, food and drinks concept exactly similar to the Schengen lounge in D. And I fully agree with you the renaming is really confusing as it uses the same letters as before (gates "C" and "D" used to be part of "B" and "F" and "G" used to be "C", etc) but in fairness, I do find FCO a rather pleasant airport to connect at (more so than AMS in my view) despite pathetic shopping (bloody expensive!)
