I am pleasantly surprised (shocked even) that after a bunch of seemingly incomprehensible back-and-forth emails with LifeMiles over a period of several weeks, they have come to their senses and added Blantyre (BLZ) to the list of available airports!!!

So I sent them the details, complete with painstakingly compiled screenshots from Star Alliance timetable, partner airlines websites/routemaps, etc..
