I wandered over to VRBO site and there are some of the Marriott timeshares available for a little cheaper than the Marriott rate (but no points for that).

However, the Ritz Carlton Residences on Singer Island look great, almost twice as large as the Marriott, and the VRBO prices cheaper than the Marriott rates.

It would mean giving up the big resort-style pool at the Marriott, but the extra space in the Ritz condo might be worth that.
