For employer paid tickets, they would have to pay for hotels in LON anyways in order to wait out the Saturday night requirement, so I can get the hotel reimbursed.
In my industry when you travel on company money you go the fastest way.
Even if LHR-IAH was 3 times LHR-CDG-IAH the company would pay as it would be a heck of a lot more convenient.
I dont think flying into Europe is going to be very attractive to anyone but very thrifty leisure travellers.
