Should I pursue this with LX?

I was booked on LX 256 last night in Y, and used an eVoucher to upgrade to C.

About 28 hours before departure, I got an SMS from LX, telling me that the plane went tech, and that the new plane is A321 (rather than A330 it was supposed to be) - i.e., C is a glorified Y (and as a SEN, the only thing I am giving up is a few centimeters between the chairs and a meal I wanted to ditch anyway to get some sleep).

I've succeeded to downgrade myself back to Y (took some phone calls, and despite their warning, at the end they served me the SPML I've ordered, despite being asked less than 12 hours in advance).

The thing is, I know that in theory, a plane can go tech outside the hub, leading to a shift in the entire fleet utilization, and even a plane going tech in the hub might need more than a day for fixing. However, it feels as if this is not really a tech-issue (if anyone knows how to find which plane "allegedly" went tech, I'd be grateful) but rather "we did not fill our plane enough to operate A330" scenario. It made my trip a bit longer (rather than a direct flight), costed a few extra $ (~20-30, nothing too big) to get a decent seat, and ruined my plan to get a good night sleep. So - should I pursue? and if so, does anyone has any comparable experience/compensation? (and should I challenge them to produce the name of the plane that went tech?)

Thx!
