Was debating whether to post this or not. On March 18th SFO-IAD there were probably 30 people in group 1, 70 in group 2 and the rest spread throughout 3,4 and 5 on a 737-800. They boarded GS and people needing help and military, about 5 people boarded. The call group 1, it is a madhouse. Group 1 was a mob, 2 was a nice orderly line (except for 1 woman who thought she could cut). But here is the amazing thing, The GA was actually doing a good job of telling people in group 1 that had a 2 on their BP to step aside and wait. Was about 10 people. If these lice had actually gotten in the group 2 line like they should have they would have been way back, saw them get into the group 1 line. So what do they do? As soon as group 2 is called the 10 people surge in so they are the first to board with group 2. People like that are causing major problems. They were all smirking that they had payed the system and got to be first in line with group 2. But they made the group 1 a complete cluster as they were being pulled out of line by the GA. Ridiculous. I was about #15 in the original group 2 line but ended up as about #25 with these people doing what they did. Yes, I did get a very small space in the overhead above my seat for my backpack but if I had had a rollaboard it would have been about 10 rows back.I was in row 8. I can guess either lot of silvers did not get E+ or there were a huge amount of CC holders as there were about 15 of the people who boarded ahead of me in group 2 that went farther back than E+ and a lot of the group 1 people had filled the overheads in the first few rows of E+.
