There is no direct train between PVG and SHA. Metro line 2 is secretly 2 lines, with a connection. So if you are travelling PVG-SHA then, since you shall have a connection anyway, you are better off taking Maglev to Longyang Road and there connecting to Metro Line 2.

Hongqiao station has a direct metro connection to Longyang Road. Shanghai station has not.

Reasonable connections to Shanghai station would be line 2 to Century Avenue and there Line 4 to Shanghai Station, or continue Line 2 to People´s Square and there Line 1 to Shanghai Station.
