Suggest you call KE and check.

If you were taking the first onward flight to your destination, within 24hrs, and that required an overnight in ICN, then I am fairly sure that KE would provide a hotel. (At least, that was my experience, travelling via ICN in Y, last year).

However, as it seems there is a same day connection to JFK (KE85 departing at 19:30), I don't know whether KE will say you should have taken that flight, and therefore not provide a hotel - or whether they won't mind...
