He's a Master TSO - perhaps he was pretending to be a trainer ...

It depends on the particular mace spray that he found - typical ones used by LEO have a safety cover/guard and deliver a narrow focused OC spray out to a distance of 8-15 feet, and each burst usually 5 seconds but some will continue as long as you hold the button down.

His other job with BFS is working with children (& their families) with special development needs and thankfully, not with elderly - the agency has multiple locations within NYC, the closest one at nearby Jamaica ... Good grief, he should be required and received official NYS Child Abuse & Neglect Training and is a "Mandated Reporter" working with children, and yet work for TSA
