my easyjet booking problem
last night I booked two return flights on easyjet using emirates miles. I paid extra miles for one checked bag. this was confirmed in an email from emirates.
however, the email from easyjet showed no checked bag had been paid for.
when I rang easyjet they confirmed that I had not paid for a checked bag.
I rang emirates who confirmed that 6250 miles had been taken for a checked bag and I should/must resolve this with easyjet.
after an hour on the phone (after 25 minutes my first call to emirates was disconnected and I had to ring them again and start the saga again) I am shell shocked.
has anyone else on this board faced this type of problem and if so how was it resolved? I suppose the simple answer is to pay easyjet £28 for a checked bag and write it off to experience.
