Interesting, the OP pays AA codeshare (so technically CX doesn't make a dime off of him) and even registers the miles to AA, not CX. And yet he can flash his CX SL and get granted lounge simply because he flies on CX metal (which again, by codeshare, CX doesn't make any money off of him.)

Yet CX SL, GO can't get lounge access if they fly on non-CX/KA flights.
