I've seen a lot of commentary before about using FB rather than SM....I would imagine most people have either DL or FB, but not both. Seems like splitting between programs would not be a good option for most. Am I missing something?

BTW, I'm not a fan of KL/AF. Maybe that is because I recently sat for 7 hours in EC staring at several empty J seats that I had tried to use a SWU for over a six month period (and paying a EF membership just to try to snag one on this flight). Or because when I got the AMS I was 9th on the shower list and 2 hours later I was 20th....apparently DL elites do not need showers like the KL elites do. Or because....
