That's my sense as well. I think Chrétien should take a huge chunk of money and invest it in railway infrastructure for Calgary - Edmonton and the Eastern Triangle. Once the groundwork is laid down for the Eastern Triangle, then it would be interesting to see whether or not a Montreal - New York / Boston fast train would ever happen. That would give all the airlines a run for their money!
