Thanks, I appreciate the info. PHX is usually a trip to visit family for us, so what I mostly use the lounge for is a clean restroom and place to change a diaper. Maybe grab a beer before the return flight too. I'm not impressed enough with any domestic club to buy a membership, but since we get in with Amex Platinum (including family), we usually do visit the lounge on departure/arrival if there is one.
I'll take the tip on B at PHX. Return trip is on a Tuesday anyway, which is a slower (slowest?) travel day anyway.
By biggest complaint with the US clubs is the restrooms. They are very small, in PHX the men's rooms, are one single toilet. I was in PHX that week and had to leave the club to use the restroom. In CLT last week same problem. And by the way, I don't find them any cleaner
