The weird thing is that on Tripadvisor and hotels.com, the DoubleTree had such ringing praise.
Isn't the Rainbow Bridge a little farther away from the falls? Easy walks, nice walks, nice views all interest me. The casino, not as much.
You're saying that the DoubleTree is near the Four Points?
Finally, regarding these passes - what should I be looking for? Don't need vouchers for restaurants as I only eat Kosher. What would I want bus service for? I have a car, and how much driving do you need to do there, especially for only 2 days? (I'm serious - not trying to argue for the sake of arguing.)
I would like to do Maid of the Mist, and there's a "hike" I once did years ago behind the falls - is that "Journey Behind the Falls?" Do you need a ticket for that?
Any other recommendations of something that you need to book tickets for that's worth seeing? I know that's a broad question - I'm only there with my wife and for 2 days. We're young, and something physical (such as hiking) is fine with us, but so is watching some 3D IMAX movie.
Again, thanks so much in advance!
